Valley Stream Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. No information here, or from a linked search service, is offered as a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA.
4. Sites We Link To
Government portals, libraries, archives, and sponsored search services operate independently. Their availability, prices, content, privacy practices, and terms remain their own. A link does not make this service responsible for an outside result or for data supplied to an outside provider.
5. No Warranty
The service is offered "as is" and "as available." No promise is made that a record reference is complete, current, accurate, or available at a particular time. A visitor must confirm material with the office, court, library, archive, or other custodian that controls it.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of this service or an outside resource, including a decision made from a record reference.
7. Indemnity
A user agrees to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from claims, demands, losses, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from that user's misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Content Ownership
The service's original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a short attributed excerpt is permitted. Republishing full pages or systematically copying the content is not permitted.
9. Changes to These Terms
The terms may be revised by posting an updated version here. Use after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Suspension of Access
Access may be limited or blocked, without notice, for a user who violates these terms or abuses the service.
11. New York Law
New York law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state's Freedom of Information Law, Public Officers Law article 6, §§84-90, governs access to agency records, not an obligation for this private service to create or supply a record. Courts and other custodians follow their own access rules, and agency records may be subject to statutory exemptions and privacy redactions.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions remain effective.
